Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, on Friday 31th-May-2019, experience what can called a tragic incident that claimed the life of a student identified as Sheu Aminu Hammed, an HND1 student of Applied chemistry in a scene that can be called nonchalant attitude of the health center of the institution.

Just in the main time, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree is currently conducting examination for HNDs and ND1 students respectively.

The incident happened around 3:13pm on Friday, an HND1 student named Sheu Aminu Hammed, fainted in the examination hall and was rushed to the school health center immediately but was not attended to claiming they had already close for the day, but the normal closing hour is 4:00pm as was reported by a concerned student.

Due to this the deceased student was rushed to a nearby Hospital in the town, identified as Ogo-Oluwa hospital where he was confirmed dead.

On Saturday morning, the student stormed the health center and destroyed everything therein and burn down the medical ambulance and part of the building
