Osun state Polytechnic, Iree, On 16th/ May/ 2019, had her Students Union Government (SUG) Election of which many student came out in mass to fulfill their civic duties. 

 At around 9Am the election process started as slated, the election had only two candidates "Raji kehide Ademola popularly known as KENRAJ and his counterpart Olatunji Nurudeen Ishola A.K.A Solace" contesting for the post Of the Union President.

At Around 1pm misconception started and the whole election process was in disarray due to some notable reasons. People saw some election going on in the bush which was not planned and slated in the election and ballot papers seen in the bush were in favour of SOLACE.

 Others saw things differently as uproar caused so many to run their dear lives.

"A student who was caught with the election ballot papers in the bush was beaten mercilessly and handed over the police.


It was also noted that their were duplicates of the ballot papers which carried a wrong date and also photocopied with a different stamp colour to the original ballot paper.

The conclusion of the election has been placed on suspension till further notice.
